A question I am often asked is ‘how did you becomes a Dietitian – what sparked your interested in food?’.
I decided to study and work as a Dietitian as I was involved in State and National level Athletics and Cross Country and personally experienced how much of an impact diet can have on performance.
I experienced my own nutritional issues and worked with a Sports Dietitian to successfully get myself back on track and performing well.
I personally experienced how much of an impact food choices have on fuelling for a training session or races, optimising recovery, and eating well to get myself through a busy daily routine. Even if it only improves your performance by 1-2%, that could be the difference between beating your PB or goal time, or crossing the finish line in 1st place instead of 4th.

She has a huge interest in nutrition for endurance sports, and knows first hand how important the right nutrition plan is.
